Camp Champion 2025- Monday: What’s Your Superpower?

Camp Champion kicked off with a bang (and a zap and a pow). From the moment our campers arrived, the energy was high as we explored the unique strengths and talents that make each individual a hero in their own way. Monday’s activities included sensory stations, leisure and movement breaks, and a special scrapbooking session to capture day-one memories. Campers also took a community outing to the Wheaton Library Café—just one of many opportunities this week for connection and real-world learning.

Our special activity of the day was a collaborative mural project, brought to life with the incredible artistic support of one camper’s mom. We even got a surprise visit from some real-life heroes: members of the local fire and police departments stopped by for a meet-and-greet that left everyone smiling.
