Our Programs
At Joey’s House, we’re passionate about creating safe, joyful, and inclusive experiences for young people with disabilities—and their families. Through our year-round programs, we offer opportunities for social connection, personal growth, and supportive care, all at no cost to the families we serve.
House Parties
One-day weekend programs designed with connection and care in mind.
Hosted throughout the year in Glen Ellyn, our House Parties are structured Saturdays filled with crafts, music, cooking, sports—and always end with our famous group piñata. These events offer trusted weekend care for families and a chance for participants to stay connected in a fun and familiar environment. Staffed by a loving team of volunteers including special education teachers, therapists, and family members.
Family Socials
Bringing our community together all year long
From bonfires and pool parties to trick-or-treating and more, our seasonal Family Socials create space for connection and celebration. Hosted across the DuPage suburbs, these events are designed to be accessible and welcoming for everyone in the Joey’s House family.
Camp Champion
Our flagship week-long day camp for adolescents and young adults with disabilities.
Held every July in Wheaton, Illinois, Camp Champion offers a unique blend of summer fun and vocational support tailored to each participant’s needs. Whether it’s friendship-building, hands-on activities, or gaining valuable life skills, Camp Champion is a highlight of the year for our campers—and a critical source of support for their families.
Trivia Night
Our annual fundraiser that makes Camp Champion possible
Each spring, we host our signature fundraising event bringing our community together for an evening of fun, friendly competition, and meaningful impact. In 2025, our superhero-themed Trivia Night raised enough to fully fund Camp Champion, allowing us to offer the program completely free of charge to all participating families.
